Hey guys, I recently saw this on Ebay and saw that it had two graphics cards.
I'm really interested in buying it and believe it is Msata, which I am led to believe means I can put my SSD, which will increase the performance.

My main question is, will this laptop be able to run high graphical games such as BF4 on medium / high settings.

The game I am mainly playing is league of legends and starcraft 2, so would it be able to handle these types of games on high graphics with good FPS?

Many thanks in advance for feedback,

Aaron

Hey

With vayne you will own every enemy late game, ( ofc if you don't have a fed bunny riven against you! )

You already have some benchmarks there on BF4/ Crysis 3, this laptop will kill those games on medium for sure and high on BF4 for sure.
League is not a question, that will get you more than 120 fps perma

The linked Lenovo laptop at ebay seems to be the g505s which the poster was probably too lazy to to list.

I like his listing it made me laugh because of false advertising where he stated:

3.5Ghz Per Turbo Core = 14Ghz Processing Power

That is a pretty blatant lie since that is not how multi core processors operate. If I really wanted to I would report it ebay to have the laptop taken off the listing so that the poster could be fix blatant false advertising and a few other over the top comments.

Although that poster stated "Crossfire" it is in fact referred to a "Dual Graphics" by AMD who more or less stopped using the word "Crossfire" in about 1 or 2 years ago I think. The issue with Dual Graphics is that they only work with DX10 and DX11 games. Any games that is DX9 (or before) like Skyrim will only use the integrated graphics core.

Ah, thanks for much for your replies guys, interesting stuff, I think I'll avoid that lenovo on Ebay then.

As for the one you linked on Amazon, that is pretty awesome, but a bit of a stretch for cash for me, I was stretching out with the £650 :(, Have to see if I can work out a way to get the extra money as that laptop seems a lot nicer.

Might have to keep looking around see if I can find a good deal around the £700 max mark, or save up a bit longer.

I think I might go for that MSI, it states on amazon it was first released on 20 Jan 2014, is that correct? I like to buy stuff that's only been released xD.

Also, on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GP70-2OD-251XUK-17-3-inch-Bluetooth/dp/B00I0RLPTA/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Appears they have one at £689, though it does state a 1-2month ship, whiich seems quite drastic but I might enquire about it.

Many thanks guys,

I love that Lenovo, must be my favourite brand, but im not soo keen on the price tag xD
