Gaming Laptop for £900

Hi, I'm looking for a laptop that is capable of playing most modern games at ultra settings.

The price range is £900 max!
Extremely preferred option are:
Resolution: 1920x1080 (Will be doing design work as well)
Harddrive: SSD as OS
RAM: 6-8GB (Hopefully 8GB as design work will be needed)
Processor: Again, capable of high end graphics

I saw some deals a few years ago but I do not remember where from. All the research I've been looking at so far are either way too expensive or sacrifice essential things like screen size or hardware.

I don't really want to be playing games or designing on a tiny screen.

I sympathize with your situation but this forum is overflowing with people who thought that laptops were portable...

Portables are not great for gaming. No matter what you do it will over heat quickly especially on 'ultra" settings. It's best to reserve portables for those applications that require portability and that doesn't include gaming. You will be much happier if you build yourself a gaming desktop and get a lot more for your money. Almost everybody on this forum will help if you ask. Good luck.

Hi, appreciate the feedback.

I understand, honestly I was boycotting laptops for so long. I have a £1500 Desktop at home which I game, stream, record and do intensive design work including 3D and video processing on.

My problem is recently my work has been taking me away from home for weeks on end and for that fact I need to keep up with work (Not so much rendering) and there can be weeks I'm away with nothing to do so I'd like to play games.

I can be sat in a hotel waiting to meet a client days later with no work to catch up on and there's only so much browsing of the internet I can do before my brain explodes.

That's not the case.

Like I said, I was avoiding having one for ages.

I understand they're full of issues including power and heat production. It doesn't dispute the fact that I wish to have the best for my buck which is better than what I currently have.
