I have ink spots on my photos why?

Solution
Did you already replace the ink? Does it have a cleaning option? That's a Dye Sub printer, so it should have solid ink that gets melted onto the paper, basically, it transfers the ink from the roller to the paper.

Your paper may be old or poor quality, or there is an issue with the ink or the printhead. If you see this http://www.togblog.biz/dye-sub-printers/what-is-dye-sublimation/ the print head heats up the ribbon with the ink, if one of those is not working right you will end up with a messed up image.

It may be easier and cheaper to just get a working used one instead of trying to buy parts for yours.
