So recently I have been wanting to record Arma 2: OA, I started up the game and ran Dxtory also. When I got in game my fps was showing 60fps, however when I started recording it dropped to 30, I even reverted to fraps as well but that recorded at even lower FPS. I'm really concerned as my computer before I upgraded it at christmas performed better than this, never used to drop this many frames when recording. Does anyone have a clue on how to fix this?
