dual monitors vs one monitor

Hi everyone! I would like to know the advantages of a dual monitor vs a single monitor. I would also like to know if there is a dual monitor without that crease right in the mid, drives me CRAAAAAZY.

Advantages are mainly a wider, non-stretched field of view = nicer visuals. Remember, Nvidia surround only supports 3 or 5 monitors, not two. And if money is not a problem, get 3 displays => No crease in the middle. If you're using AMD though, the number of displays can vary freely 1-5. Just be sure your GPU can handle it.
