I wanted to look into a server board for an upcoming build. I like it because of its mass ram capabilities and multiple CPU space. But, I want to know if its good for gaming. I would use it for mostly a workstation(video editing, music production, etc.) But I would like to jump into some graphics intensive programs and games.

Thanks,

Regards, Mason.

More RAM and CPU cores will do very little for gaming. Take a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tyudcr1uLY for building a work station

Yea, I know, but I wanted to know if the board can handle the graphics card and processing capabilities that gaming needs.

Why not get a workstation board rather than a server board as they were made for this purpose
