Yea 10 game servers? What kind of games? how many people will be in each game server and what kind of internet connection do you have? I mean for 10 game servers you will probably want to go with a Dual Xeon with at least 6 cores each if not more and a SHIT load of ram. Like 64 gigs or so and some SSD's. Definatlly want something with a Dual Gigabit Nic that you can do Nic Teaming (Where it combines Both nics together to make 1 vitural nic) so that you can get more bandwith out of it.

Ah ok! I was thinking something like BF4 or something XD What i would do is get something that is def upgradeable. I would still stick with a Xeon CPU. Get like a Dual Xeon Board and then get just one Xeon for now. If that isn't enough. Then just get a second Xeon. And should be ok with 32Gb of ram. Still want some SSD's and still want to setup NIC Teaming either way.

What is the link to the NIC

Everything is usually Gigabite anymore. But setting up the NIC Teaming helps. I know. had a client (Maybe 50 PCs) One a single Gigabit NIC. I Then did NIC Teaming (Connected one NIC to Each of their 2 Gigabit Switchs) They saw a HUGE Difference. It just helps PLUS If one NIC Goes down or Die the Other takes the Full load. So not only does it combine the two but its also a fail over.

As far as i know though (Sure if differnet with other PC's. But as far as the Dell servers i work with) It has to be a broadcom netxtreme 57xx gigabit controller for the Nic teaming to Work.
