Hello and I have a very annoying error with my Logitech headset. I am using the USB plugin for the headset and have downloaded the support from the website. The headphones in general will not work. I don't know what to do and I am using a Dell N5040 laptop. The microphone, and audio will not work. Audio will only come out of my laptop's speakers. I use Windows 7!

Here is what pops up when I left click the audio button.

When ever I open the playback tab this opens up. When ever I right click the headset tab (the very first one) and set it as the default audio deceive it does not switch and will not become the default headset.

When ever I open the recording devices it just freezes and will not allow me to move it or select anything in it. I have to close it with the Task Manager and cannot access it.

Now here is where I am confused. The troubleshoot will say my headset is disabled, when in fact, it is not. I have gone to the Device Manager settings and set it to enabled and it will still not work.

If anyone can help me then thank you!

Solution
the playback should be communications headphones as default so the check box goes there and for playback the logitech mike should be default with the check box .

Uh... this is worded very strange. I did as you said but the devices will still not change. I don't know how to force change them to work either.
