With all this talk about bottlenecking, I was wandering if my CPU is holding back the potential of my GPU. Here are the specifications of my rig:
GPU-Radeon HD 7750 Gigabyte 1GB OC Edition
CPU-Phenom 9750 Quad-Core
RAM-8 GB
MOBO-RS780
PSU- Corsair CX430
I ran Total War: Rome II on high settings with a resolution setting of 1600x900. I got the following readings:
Average FFS-26.9
GPU useage was from 48%-51%
CPU useage was around 30%
From what I have read, my CPU is bottlenecking the GPU. I would like to get some more opinions on this matter. Thank you.
