I recently upgraded my pc to a ASUS Hero IV. I have a X-540 5.1 speaker system. Before I upgraded my mother board I was using a asus xonar 5.1 pci card and everything worked great. Now, depending on the movie, VLC media player will either play no sound at all, or sound only through the center speaker. So far I can not get any sounds through for Amazon.com or windows media player. When I open the control center and test the speakers, they seem to work fine, only thing out of place is the center speaker is tested when testing the subwoofer, but that would make sense because they share the same line. My brother things this is just a setting somewhere and isn't the driver at all, but is no professional.

I installed the newest driver from ASUS and realtek audio with no change... any ideas? For the time being I changed the sound to passthrough HDMI and it works fine, but isn't what I'm used too..
