I want to be able to manage my fans manually through software or hardware, depending on what i'm doing without the use of the BIOS or Software controlling it based upon temperature.

essentially I want 2 profiles, one for Gaming and the other for Windows/idle.

I've used SpeedFan to change the speeds manually , however this requires individually clicking each fan and adjusting it every time i want to 'game' or 'windows/idle' - is there a way of making a profile what is as simple as '1 click' to enable 1000 RPM gaming profile?

maybe some different software perhaps?

Ive also considered a control pannel for my 5.25" bays - i would rather not go this route, however prepared to do so if there's no other option.

would love your input!!

MSI Afterburner for your GPU. You can save fan curves so that you can customize a fan profile to be enabled quickly.
