Hi, I'm Tom.
I'm looking for an extra hard drive that I can record my Let's Play videos for YouTube onto. I would like a cheap, but fast hard drive that can write files to it over 100 MB/s. I currently have a 1TB Seagate Barracuda (7200 RPM) that I ran all my files onto.

I had a question, which would be faster at writing to the hard drive: a SSD, a HDD 7200 RPM, or a HDD 10,000 RPM? I know SSD would be fast but it's very expensive for such a small amount of space... I've heard that the 10,000 RPM hard drives can write a lot quicker than a class 7200.

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.
