Hey guys! I am starting to put together my first PC rig and would love some input. I am new to this, so any help would be appreciated. This is for gaming mostly. I will probably be using it through out college. I want to keep the price to around $1100. Here is the build:

Case - Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
CD Player - ASUS 24X DVD Burner
MOBO - ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer AM3+ AMD Motherboard
GPU - GeForce GTX 760 2GB
PSU - Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-750 750W
RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB DDR3 1600
CPU - AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 4.0GHz 8-Core
Hard Drive - SAMSUNG 840 EVO 250GB Internal SSD
OS - Windows 8.1 64 bit

Total - $1117 (After tax and shipping)

I know, the GPU is lacking somewhat, but that is just for now, I plan on upgrading later this year or the next. Windows 8 has a lot of mixed reviews, should I grab that or get Windows 7? Oh, and am I missing any parts? Monitor, keyboard, and mouse are not included because I am getting those separately. Thanks!

The reason for the overkill PSU is for my future upgrade. I plan on getting a 780 or sli a couple of 770s later on in the year. So wont I need about 750? Or should I downgrade to 500 or 600?
