Hello, I'm looking for a great gaming Intel motherboard, and an amazing CPU to go with it, i mostly game, wanting to game with the newest of games, such as Thief and Black flag and such, also want to emulate PS2 games, so i need a great single thread performance, as my AMD FX-4100 won't cut it for most of the games i have (Luckily i can play both kingdom hearts without problems <3) but i have tons of other games i can't play even with speed ups. Any suggestions? Don't want any bottle necking either, i have AMD Radeon HD 7750, but thinking soon to upgrade that after i get the MB and CPU to a higher one of Nvidia or AMD, So i need it to not bottle neck any one of the Graphics cards. Also i have 1066 MHZ DDR3 G.Skill ram, so i need it to be compatible with that as well. (Trying to save as much money as possible :D)
Thanks!!

If you want to overclock, you need to shell out another $150. The i5 4670K is the choice for gamers for the Intel side. About $225 for the cpu and $125 for a good Z87 motherboard. Have you ever considered getting another AMD FX? particularly the FX8320. It will only cost $100 less you going at AMD route.

I would suggest going AMD on such a low budget. THe FX 8320 is a great CPU and you can get a cheap motherboard for it to work perfectly.
Here is a suggestion if you consider going AMD.

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($154.14 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($74.79 @ Amazon)

Does the FX8320 have a great Single thread performance? That's mostly what I'm using Intel for, but if i can find an AMD one id rather choose that one since i already have all stuff set up. Oh and my Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 and a 300 watt PSU.

Well first off 300 Watt is fairly low so before anything you will need to upgrade it.
But Intel blows AMD out of the water on single thread performance but thats not always as great as having an extra 2-4 cores for half the price.
If you are looking into Intel your price would be around 275-325 on a budget.

You need to save up for this configuration for your future graphic card upgrade. You need a Z87 motherboard to overclock the 4670K. 650W should be enough for any single gpu setup.
