Is it possible to use 2 VGA monitors with GTX 650 Ti?

I used to have 2 VGA monitors working on a GT 440 (with a dvi-i adapter).

I recently upgraded to GTX-650 Ti, but it used a dvi-d. I figured, simply getting a dvi-d adapter would do the trick, but doesn't seem to be seeing my other monitor. Both monitors work one at a time through VGA, just not together through VGA + VGA and DVI-D.

Both monitors are the same, 20" widescreen AOC 2036 1600x900.

Do I need to get an HDMI cable and go through that instead, or how does that work?

Sorry, I know next to nothing about monitors, and monitor trouble is the last thing i expected when getting a graphics card.

VGA uses the same signal as and HDMI cable except HDMI has sound also, VGA has the same quality as HDMI when it comes to picture. I have a 650 ti and I can run both monitors using the two VGA ports.

I am trying to avoid spending extra money. The monitor itself works perfectly fine. I dont't actually even see an hdmi input on its back though... Does this mean I need to get a new monitor, or is there any trick that would let me to connect what i already have to dvi-d or hdmi?
