I built this machine and things just hang up, crash, close, i get blue screens occassionally, prime keeps failing. i just want a computer that runs now, i dont care about even attempting an overclock, which was my plan.

the system is comprised of the following key components

asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0
AMD FX 9370
16 gb kingston hyperx beast 2400
asus geforce 760
samsung 840evo ssd
thermaltake smart power 750
CM seidon 120xl cooler

all i wanna do is run my ram @ 2400 and leave it alone at this point. which asus said the board will support it as long as the processor does, in which it does.

i used to play around with machines back when dual cores were cool, but i dont know what all these damn options are in this UEFI bios. i can get it to boot @ 2400 but things are just crappy and ive messed around with darn near everything in the bios. i have these issues even when it defaults to 1333. im not even sold that its a memory issue im having. im at a loss. am i just getting too old and need to just return this stuff and buy a store machine or what?

i tried just setting everything to auto, i dont get why AMP isnt an option, is that auto or something? its listed on the right. should it be set to DOCP? im just lost i guess i need a walkthrough as to how to set this up.

everytime ive ever wanted information ive always came here for answers, but this is my first time asking for help, hopefully you guys can be as epic as always.

Fell asleep running the memtest u recommended sorry. Memory passed. I didnt enter the timings before I tested. Bios is up to date. Vcore temps hit 70 running prime. Proc thermal probe says 47.8. Still unstable. Could it be pulling voltage because of the vcore temp and making things unstable? Should I raise the thermal limit?

Prime 95 shows processors erroring out though.
