I fed up with R290's problems, want to buy a new card. I want something faster than R290.
Which card ,gpu would you suggest? Is there going to be a new architecture ,gpu in the coming 2-3 months?

well. i get "black screens " time to time. Also BSOD while streaming video, or playing a local video file occasionally. I tried to RMA it , but service doesnt accept that the card is faulty. Maybe a new bios, driver can solve the problem , but atm it's not very stable.

I checked the benchmarks, it looks like no other gpu is worth upgrading. 780 Ti seems a bit faster , but it's not worth the extra cost i guess.

A new gpu coming in the next months?

Actually i quite like the card. If it wasnt for those black screen, bsod problems, this would be a great buy. But i'm not alone, there a lots of users complaning from the same problems.

I never used EVGA , is this a reliable brand?

its from Asus .
They don't accept the RMA . They said , card was tested and they didn't see a problem.

Black Screens happens very randomly. it may happen in 5 mins, or it may work for 2 hours without a problem. So it's not easy to see it by testing it for 15-20mins.

No overclock on the system. Works fine without this card.

EVGA is the most reputable manufacturer of nVidia cards and have the best customer support and warranty on the market. Not to mention, the Classified is the best performing GTX 780 on the market.

This is a driver issue because I had this exact issue, completely remove all your graphic drivers from the uninstall a program under control panel, + use a driver sweeper program and restart, you should boot up without any graphic drivers, now download the latest drivers from the website.

With the new beta drivers , i was able to play for 45 mins. didnt get a black screen . New drivers may solve the problem, or i was just lucky.

i was keeping an eye on the sensors . +12V , is this the one that powers the graphics card? it was always 12V or 12.096V during the game. Is this ok?
