Can a GTX 660 handle two monitors?

Solution
Im not much of a gamer, but I can run triple monitor games on med-high with my 760, so yours will have no problem with pro/hobbyist 3d work. It irritates me a little that people forget GPUs are used for more than just gaming. Anyways, you should definitely get a second monitor as in increases productivity significantly, and you will have no trouble running it.

no way...
i mean you can set your resolution to be 2x 1920x1080 by using a GTX 660, BUT you will suffer from heavy unacceptable low framerate... so, go along with SLI mode if you want multi monitor...

How about using the two monitors only for graphic design, 3D design and video editing? Will it be ok then?

If not, what is card I should get at least to run two monitors?

it is same thing... no matter you are using 2 or 3 1080p monitor... the matter is how your resolution for graphic design 3d design, gaming or anything you set to be...

running 1920x1080 means rendering 2073600 pixel per second... so, you need something gpu which has bandwith rate to handle it...
running 2x 1920x1080 means rendering 2x2073600 pixel per second... so, you need something gpu which has 2x bandwidth rate too to handle it...

You may not be able to game over 3 monitors but for normal use your 660 can easily run 2 even 3 monitors at 1920x1080p I used to run a double monitor setup with my 550ti absolutely fine so don't listen to the other dude you are fine for 2 monitors.

Ok thanks.

So for 3D work and graphic work it is fine. But for gaming and video editing, no. So a minimal of a 760 is suggested than?
