Make sure that the PSU will fit in your case. You need a CPU cooler, optical drive, hard drive, and OS. The rest is reasonable. The wattage of your PSU is a bit high for the rest of your system.

oh i have windows 8 and a 500gb hd drive, was thinking of skipping on the optical drive since i dont really use it. Went for that psu because they have it on sale at a local best buy, so stock cpu cooler not effective your saying i should buy a better one?

Hyper 212 will not fit in Elite 120 - the PSU is above the MB. Stick with Intel's stock cooler. You can add a better low profile cooler later if the temperatures look bad.
Windows installs fine from USB stick since Win 7. You can skip the optical drive without problem - and avoid some cable clutter in the case.

The case is on the smaller side. If multimedia is the prime goal, and gaming will be casual I'd get 750TI instead of 660. Gaming performance will drop a little but temperatures and power consumption will be also lower.
And you really can go down to CX500M, even CX430M ($30 after rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) IF you select 750TI.
Your decision to use semi modular PSU is a good one, as this will make cable management easier.

With that particular case you are very limited in CPU coolers. I found only one that fits in the 65mm limit. There are probably others, I didn't look at the really small coolers (like the stock Intel cooler).

Thanks went with a 500w power supply and ordered that cpu cooler looks to be better than the stock intel cooler which is getting me to 71 degrees with not much effort.
