I just purchased the GeForce GTX 770 card for my pc.

My mobo is a MSI 97a-g46 with a phenom x6 1100t 3.3 CPU.

I installed the card and powered up, but I do not get a display. I flashed the BIOS with the card out and reinstalled but still get no display. I took the memory out and. Tried that but still no display. The mobo and card both have power running but no display. It's been a while since I last installed a video card any help is appreciated.

Did you uninstall the drivers from the old GPU first? Is the bios set to initialize the PCI-E GPU first? <-- should be because the old card worked. Make sure your monitor cables are plugged in on both ends. Make sure all power cables are plugged in securely. Make sure your PSU will have enough wattage to run the card.

If all this checks out then the card would be bad.

Well I feel really STUPID. My apologies all,I retraced my steps and realized that I did not have the CPU power pins connected. The PC is up and running and loading windows now.

If I need any other advice on the card after installing software I will post here.

Again sorry for not being through.
