OK, so the obvious answer is to get a new PSU... I know this.
What I'm looking for is a more direct way to test the PSU specifically.

I had my computer shut off and restart. There was no heavy load going on so I am leaving it up to a PSU failure. It hasn't happened again since (a few hours of playing some Video Games) so maybe it was just a one time thing?
Am I safe? Should I expect this thing again?
Is it possible to just have a random PSU failure?

Thanks for you wisdom :)

That is just a crash. While it could be the PSU its not very likely unless you have a very crappy PSU

Alright, so it's happened a few more times recently. Seems to be closer to when I just turn on the computer versus having it running for a long time. I've checked the cables to see if anything was loose, nothing.

I did just switch cases, which is when all this started happening so I think my next step is to take my case apart and make sure I put everything together the right way.

But just to be thorough, here is my build:

CASE: BitFenix Phenom White (mATX)
PSU: Corsair 600w Builder Series
MOBO: AsRock Z77 Pro 4-M
CPU: i5 3570k
CPU FAN: CM H212
RAM: 8GB Kingston HyperX Blue
RAM: 8GB Ballistix Sport
STORAGE: 120GB Sandisk Ultra
STORAGE: 1TB Seagate Barracuda

Like I said, it all started happening when I put everything in my new case. My old case was Antec One Hundred ATX

Found that the power connection to the motherboard was a little loose. Attributing this as the solution.
