Hello everyone,

I have a GPU Gigabyte Windforce x3 GTX 770 OC 4GB (rev 1.0) as described above, bought it recently and even more recently, it started performing really bad in Battlefield 4, I'm getting 30FPS maximum at 1080p, everything on ultra, where before I was getting 50-60 FPS, easily.

I also couldn't help to notice that it is idling at around 50ºC, when it should be at least below 40ºC. Nevertheless, it doesn't overheat under load, going to 67-70ºC, staying mostly at 67ºC, which is exactly the expected.

Other games run fine, even THIEF 2014, which is way less demanding of GPU (at least in my PC, where the GPU load gets at 70 avg. in THIEF, while BF 4 can easily reach 99).

Nothing has changed in my comp since it started doing so, I don't even remember installing any weird program. I think it's probably some setting.

Any ideas?

OK I just restarted the PC and it was at 38ºC, so I'm thinking it's not temperature... Something is bothering me, GPU Load almost locks at 99 when the game is running, all the time. Is this normal?

Another very strange thing, when I run it in non-maximized window mode, it runs smoothly, but as soon as I maximize the window it drops to 20-30 FPS

OK, I managed to fix my RAM and discovered that the game was running at 200% resolution rescaling, which was causing the major drop in FPS. Still, I'm not sure whether it should get some drops to 38 FPS in some areas of the maps
