I can log on to my computer fine as an admin, but once in, am stopped at every turn by RA Media Server. It demands its admin password and I don't have that password. It is blocking all program updates and preventing any changes to the system. Cannot choose a new recovery point after a disc reboot, cannot manage or delete the admin account, cannot create a new protected admin account. I would be happy not to be password protected at all since I am the only one ever using this computer.

I have followed every bit of advice I could find (including: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/35... ) on this problem and nothing is working. Dell won't talk to me in person because my warranty's up and I can't risk getting the same old advice for $129.

Is there anything new you can suggest? Thanks very much for your input!

Since we have no way to verify ownership of equipment we cannot provide assistance with passwords or bypassing security of any kind.
