I am forgetting something [clean install + settings]

Yo!

I'm going to install win7 64bit on this system and I have some questions:

MB Asus z87 plus
CPU I7 4770k + Hyper212Evo
GPU Gigabyte 770gtx windforce oc
RAM 16gb 2400mhz dd3 G.Skill TridentX
HD Ssd 120 gb crucial m500 + 750gb caviar blue


I need to set something on the bios other than ACHI mode on SSD and disconnect the HDD before install win? During the installation there are some tips that I should follow?

Is better to update the MB bios from usb flash or through the "bios updater"?

I downloaded the MB drivers following this guide (http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1772439)...which other drivers I need for my system?

Can you please tell me the best way to optimize the boot from my m500? And would be perfect also a good guide to optimize all the system/win7!


I want the best settings for my configuration, hope someone can help me!

use the usb flashback port on asus mb is fool proof. with windows install the sata ports should be set to achi mode and set boot order to cd-rom or usb if your using a usb stick for the install. turn on xmp profile on in the bios so your ram runs right.
after windows is installed turn on fast boot under boot options.

After the MB drivers I'll install the nvidia gpu drivers...then which drivers/tweak/firmware update for my cpu, ssd, hdd?

I read that is better to deactivate the integrated vga and audio chips if not used (I'll use an external audio card)...how can I do this in the bios?
