Hi there,
I just bought a new Asus GTX 660 DirectCU II OC 2GB to upgrade my old Sapphire Radeon 4870x2. The first two days were smooth sailing but whenever i tried to do multitasking such as surfing the web and so forth while doing GPU intensive things like playing Assassin's Creed 4, i get these white square artifacts and then the display driver crashes and gets recovered. If i stop what i'm doing and close all applications at that time it recovers but if i continue what i'm doing the computer freezes completely.
My specs are:
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus II Formula P45 1600MHz DDR2
CPU: INTEL C2QUAD Q9650 3.00GHz 1333MHz 12MB 64BIT 775p
RAM: OCZ Reaper 2 GB 1066 MHz CL5 DDR2 Kit (2x1GB) x2
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower Qfan 750W
OS: Windows 7
Any ideas what's causing the problem?
