I love it when people are a bit vague.
If you have just built the system and it uses the Asus board the green light will come on when you connect the atx 12v power block to the board.
How erver if you have a high end graphics card in the Pci-e slot you must make sure if the board is a new built that you have connected the extra 12v eight or four pin power from the PSU to the motherboard on the power socket located near or around the cpu socket.
Without it fitted the board will not power up even if the green Led light of the board is lit.
Also make sure that if using a Nvida or Ati card that is high end that the 12v Pci-e connectors are plugged into the back or top edge of the graphics card from the Psu.
If none of it works then you should check the make and brand of the Psu, and it`s wattage and how many amps it can provide on the 12v power rails.
And post back all of the hardware used in the system by it`s brand and model number.
