It has a 300W psu. I dont recommend using the r7 260x with that psu. A 450 W with 19A on 12v rail psu is recommended minimum.
Here is a good option thats not costly at all-http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx500

verma is right. r7 260x needs 450 watt psu to run it and your pc has 300 watt psu. It can even run on 400w good quality psu as i3 2120 is not power hungry. So you need to upgrade your psu first. Any decent quality 500-550w psu will be good.

Yes, this will do. Although, you also have another option of cx 430 or cx 500. cx series is considered better than vs series. If you are on a tight budget, go for the vs series. If cx 430 is equal to or cheaper than vs 450, go with the cx 430.

Yes . You should have sufficient PSU. Thats why I suggested the cx 500 at first instance.
I think you should close this thread now.

gtx 750ti is as strong as r7 260x and doensn't use much power, only 60 watts. So it will work with your current 300 watt psu. I think you should consider this first.

750ti is about $40 more. In $30 he will get a 500W psu. PlusI dont think he has a good solid 300W psu.

Agree 750ti is more expensive but it will certainly be cheaper than upgrading a psu and getting an r7 260x.

Asus R7-260x=$135 + CX500 $30. Total= $165
Asus GTX 750ti=$175. (Costly)
Is his current 300W PSU reliable? (Yeah the cx series arent the best ones but surely is reliable for budget builds)
Is the 750ti available in his country?

I hear computer components in greece are pretty overpriced, that made me think maybe single gtx 750ti would be the cheaper option. At what price are you getting r7 260x?

That's what I was saying. I figured maybe in greece just buying a single gtx 750ti will be cheaper. And you already have 300 watt psu. So it's your decision now. I'd go for 750ti as it is quite better than r7 260x.

He is talking about the gtx 750 (non ti) version which is slower than the 750ti and the 27 260x. Also it has only 1 GB of vram which is not enough for 1080p. If you still want to go for 750, just think before you buy. The MSI version with two (twin frozr) fans is the best I think.

I never used palit, But I don't think it's not worth buying so. Maybe this one: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/4529657/Palit-GeForce-GTX750-T...

https://www.skroutz.gr/s/4513802/Gigabyte-GeForce-GTX75...
You can choose any one of them. But you will benefit more from palit as it has higher base clock than others.
