I will list my build specs bellow.
So I recently finished my very first build, which seemed to go great! I am left wanting to build more, or do more. I followed CareyHolzmans vids on youtube as an assist to my build. He did a PC components check which i guess grades the parts. I got all 7.6-7.8 on everything except hard drive, which I got like a 5.6 or 5.8??? I have only One HDD (No SSD's) and my one HDD is a Seagate Barracuda 1TB. Just wondered what others would do if they were at this point with the build being pretty much finished. (add another HDD or SSD? i doubt I can afford ssd though) It handles pretty much any game ive wanted to play on high. Currently on DayZ. I have also added extra fans, I found 2 New stock case fans from a Corsair 200R (same case I have) for $7 (free shipping) So I have a total of 4 corsair fans and it seems to run extremely cool. I still wanna throw a 140mm on the bottoms vent of the case.

Next step if not done so already.....cable management hide all your cables so there unseen, also creates better airflow in your case. To do so route all your cables behind your motherboard and hold with zip ties and twist ties. I recently modded my phantom 530's optical drive bay door with a tempature monitor from my old case gaurdian 921b.

Next will be taking my gigabyte gtx 770 4gb and using nzxt's g10 kraken to liquid cool it with a closed loop liquid cooler to match my cpu liquid cooler(antec kuhler 920)

Next step would be to ideally add a stronger graphics card (depending on the games you play usually; but if you don't play many demanding games, or are fine with your current card, no reason to upgrade).

Another user experience booster would be to definitely add a 120+ GB SSD. Samsung EVO does great for price for perfomance, the overall snappiness of your system is a thouand times better than without. OS/games/apps your use frequently go on the SSD, everything else can be put on your HDD.

Every normal HDD will get that rating; my Barracuda got 5.9.
You might want to throw in a CPU cooler if you're going to OC(based on the k-series processor) and even if not it'll get you better temps and less noise. I'd suggest a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo

Get into case modding. It's a ton of fun and the possibilities are endless and it's relatively inexpensive compared to buying new hardware all the time. Key is to buy cheap ass cases, or not even start with a case, but with a used piece of furniture, and see what you can turn them into.

I was thinking this card would be good enough for DayZ, not sure if its the problem but after 30 mins sometimes the game will exit out to the Windows home screen and then I can here the game in the background but it wont let me see the game again till I restart.

That card should be plenty for DayZ, maybe lower the quality settings to see if that helps, otherwise i would suspect it not getting enough air flow over the card...

And update on me putting a Kraken G10 on my Gigabyte GTX 770:
