Running Games on USB Drive??

So I am wondering if there is a way you can run simple games like minecraft or maybe like civilizations on a USB drive? We have a lot of free time at school and the school computers restrict stuff like install the games directly so I was wondering if anyone knows a way you can get around this?

Some games like WoW can run straight from wherever their files are located without requiring the usual setup process... you simply move the game files wherever you want and run the main executable.

Many programs on the other hand rely on a bunch of registry keys setup during installation and do not like getting moved around because of those. Since public PCs usually lock registry access and program installations, you are out of luck for anything that wants to set keys there.

So you pretty much have two different classes of programs. You are probably out of luck with registry-addicted software.
