Would a Mini GPU work with my Motherboard?

I have a case that is slightly too small for the GPU I'm looking at (GTX 760) but I saw a "mini" version for the same GPU... I don't know if it will work with my micro ATX motherboard (geared for the full sized gpu). I also don't know how different the smaller GPU is from the full sized one...Would the smaller GPU work with my motherboard just as well?
My motherboard is:

This is the MSI Mini ITX GTX 760

It would work fine with your motherboard, but it's the same height as the other 760s. You probably need a low profile GPU it sounds like. What kind of case do you have?

Oh, are you talking about length wise? I thought you were talking about height, my bad. Yeah, that card will definitely fit. It will be a tad slower and run hotter than the normal 760, but will still be quite powerful :)

Ah, ok. So it'll be compatible with my motherboard?

Oh yeah. The only thing different about it is it's not as long, and has a single fan. The interface is the same :)

The full sized GPUs kinda fit, but I'm not willing to risk it... The Mini GPU would definately fit, my case is here (with different internals):

If you manage to fit another fan in though it would be a lot cooler!!!
