Do you need discrete graphics card (i.e. a seperate graphics card)? If not then an AMD APU such as the new Kaveri would be perfect for media centre plus some light gaming. Whats more you can always add an AMD discrete graphics card in later on and crossfire it with your APU for increased performance over the graphics card alone.

You'll struggle to build a PC for that price using Intel.

Might I suggest Ebuyer as a possible retailer. You might take a look at this APU then find a suitable FM2 motherboard

Looks great, and can knock off £20 for the hdd because I have 500gb lying around anyway, love the case
 


Was gonna say that that is a great build, but that HDD would add some space and may be faster than your old 500gb hdd
