Asus Maximus VI Impact

Solution
It's a mini ITX form factor and has built in Wi-fi and bluetooth... that is about all it has going for it. It also only has 2 DIMM slots.

The Gene is Micro ATX and typically has more ports than the ITX version. I think the Impact has more USB 3.0 ports though.

I'd personally get the Gene unless you are building a compact sized PC that requires an ITX board. The Hero is the full ATX board, which is what I have and am very happy with. Just make sure you review the features you would like before purchasing.

Well the major differences are size will the GENE is a m-ATX board the Impact is a m-ITX board so unless you wanna carry your pc around the GENE is the way to go but if you dont mind size id check out the Asus Maximus VI HERO
but if you have a m-ITX syestem and possibly want to upgrade your CPU and Motherboard then the impact is your only choice
