GTX 780ti with a GTX 590

I just bought a EVGA 03G-P4-2884-KR GTX 780ti card and am very excited! I have a pair or GTX 590's now that I don't know if I can use or if I should sell them. Can I put them in
my system and they actually make a difference? My motherboard is a Gigabyte X79-UP4 and it supports 4 graphics cards and runs a i7 3960x CPU. Thanks!

  1. You can't sli different types of gpus. You'd have to buy another 780ti

You MUST have exactly matching GPUs to have them work together. I would recommend selling them on Craigslist, Ge Force GPUs are in hight demand there.
  3. No. You can not sli different Nvidia gpu. Amd gpus have some exact compatability by allowing crossfire if the architectures are the same like 7950/7970 or 7970/280x.
