I have the M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 and it has a spot for a system speaker. When I try to hook it up I get no sound whatsoever.

I noticed the speaker only has two cables and the board has four pins to connect it. Could this be my issue?

I'm trying to get the POST beep. Im not trying to connect regular speakers. Its a tiny speaker that came with my Haf X. Long story short...my computer starts but doesn't display anything on my monitors. I've tried the onboard graphics as well. After a little bit (the duration varies greatly) the computer shuts down. I'm trying to get some sort of error message as to what's going on.

That item you linked is exactly what I have. I meant to say the speaker connector on the mobo has 4 pinspins whereas the speaker itself only seemed to need the two outside pins. Regardless I don't think it's working for me. I tried flipping the connector to see if that worked but it did not. Maybe I should make a different topic since the issue is much bigger than the speaker not working, I was just hoping to hear some sort of error message because as it stands I'm completely lost on what's wrong with my PC.

The POST ( Power On Self Test) will check four things before loading into windows. CPU, Memory , Video card and Hard Drive.

Try one stick of ram in the first slot and see if it boots. Check the Hard Drive cables and that the video card is seated all the way. Also that the Monitor cable is connected to the video card and not the motherboard connector.

You can post your specifications to let us know what you have.

I'll give it a shot when I get home. The part that's frustrating me the most is all I did was move all my existing components to a new case and attempted to replace my Hyper212 with a Glacer 240l (which did not quite work out for me as I cannot seat the heatsink on my 965BE properly).

So I'm not sure what I did differently as I feel like I just repeated all the steps I did the first time but...I disconnected everything to make a makeshift support for the CPU cooler, reconnected everything, and she powered up just fine. Seriously have no idea what was up with the first try.
