I have been surfing a few websites looking at custom computers that people have built and I found this one that seems to be a pretty good setup for only $600, so I've been thinking about making one very similar myself. Here's the specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Do I need one?
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 Series CA-PH410-R1 Red Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Power Supply: Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit)
Extension Cards/ Networking Cards: Do I need any?
Operating System: Windows 8 (OEM) (64 bit) (I added this and it took the price up almost $100)
Total: $703.75 ( £421.13)

So I have a few questions. 1) Is this a good enough PC to run newer games like BF4 and Titanfall on their highest graphic settings? 2) How many monitors would you recommend me running off of this PC? 3) Are there any $50 (£30) or so changes that I can make to improve the quality of this computer? Thank you for your time.

Solution
It will not run games at highest settings, no. It will play them at mostly high settings though. Just not ultra.

I would change the PSU to an XFX550 unit. Similar price but WAY better quality.

You need no network cards as the motherboard has one but if you want wireless, you will need one.

You do not need a CPU cooler because the CPU comes with one, BUT, if you want to overclock you will need one.

Thanks, but would you suggest some good quality networking cards, and how many monitors do you think I can run? Oh and thanks for such a speedy reply.

I only plan on running a game on one monitor but I wanted to have 2 so I could multitask with things like wikis, and teamspeak with the other one and yes wireless networking cards.
