Hi,

I would like to play diablo 3 with my girlfriend. She don't want to buy a computer and I know I can easily run 2 diablo on my computer at the same time (tried it).

My idea is to have 2 mouse, and use something like VMware to play diablo 3 on the other screen. Can it work ? Can we play Diablo 3 at the same time ?

Thanks !

Everything would work right up until the two mouse idea. Without writing a page of info to explain it in depth, basically, your computer can't receive input from two different mice at the same time. It's a hardware conflict. If it accepted both inputs (and thats a big if because some computers just flat out cant) you would end up with two people fighting for control of a single pointer.

As i see this is very good, i didn't tried it yet but it seems interesting. i found that ubuntu has a built in option to set multiple computers from a single one https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MultiseatX
microsoft has a windows for this too http://www.microsoft.com/windows/multipoint/ . I know it is a little harder than just install a softwere but if you have multiple partitions i think is worth installing it.
if i find a more reliable solution i will tell you.
