Current configuration:
-AMD FX6350 @3.9ghz
-Biostar TA970 Motherboard
-8GB ram
-Sapphire Amd radeon 7770 Vapor-x OC
-Corsair CX430 psu
-Seagate barracuda 1TB
-Optical drive

My questions:
1) Can I run my current card (7770) in crossfire with my old card (msi 6670)?
2) Do I need a CF bridge?
3) Do I need a new psu?
4) Are there any drawbacks to having these 2 cards in crossfire?
5) What kind of effect would it have on the performance compared to just the one card?

Thanks for the help!

Hello man

A new PSU would be MANDATORY! As long as the cards are the same architecture, they should work. You will need a bridge.

1.yes u can but both cards should be ddr5 or ddr3....
2.yes ofcourse u need a CF bridge....without it u cant CF
3.again yes,u need a bew psu having 550w cos 2x7770 wil need 520 recommended....but ur card will works wid this psu also...if ur systems fans are less in count or u have 1HDD or no heatsink using then u cn run both cards.....n also both slots should be 2.0x16 for better performance...otherwise only 2% of oerformabce will down
4.not sure abt it....
5.there is no effect abt performance....atleast u cn run new games at medium settings.....

I bet my entire computer set up you cant crossfire those 2 cards. :)
Edit: He is talking about crossfiring a 7770 and a 6670 :).

Only the ones with colors can be crossfired.
