better processor and why? only have about 80 to 100 for my build i was thinking a AMD Athlon X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor but not sure

Yeah the Athlon will do work but your upgrade path wont look pretty. Go with the FX4300 or so, it has L3 cache and it has a good upgrade path (though I think AMD announced the AM3+ socket dead).

I personally am on an FX-4130 right now, runs very well, I got it with a motherboard from microcenter for around $90.
Looking at this chart, for $80, the X4 750K is actually very good for the price, one of the best.
