Hey guys, so i am looking at these two mice. Which one is better? What has the better performance, more comfortable, and able to be used without claw grip? Give more suggestions for mice that do not exceed 60 USD.

Yes I want the DeathAdder 2012 because it is currently cheaper where I live than the 2013 and it has the blue LEDs instead of green.(I like blue over green).

Thanks guys!

I would say, pick Deathadder. It is one of the most tested mice and is of very good quality..
If you have a palm grip and medium to large sized hands, go for it..
Now the problem is.
Roccat kone pure is new while Deathadder is pretty old..
Now this would be a personal choice. Do you require those fancy features in pure?
Trust me, if you don't then go for Deathadder

Steelseries rival is another great mouse. If you could get a physical hand on, it would be better. All 3 of them are just great. What fits your hand and your grip should be your take in this case

I think I have settled with the SteelSeries Rival because the Roccat Kone Pure Optical is a bit too much money to pay for at the moment. I am not really interested in the DeathAdder because it does not have the customization that the other two mice have. As well as the Rival is a couple of dollars cheaper and people said that DeathAdder vs the Rival is really up to personal preference because they are both fantastic mice. Also the SteelSeries Rival has a little bit more length than the DeathAdder and I would like a good sized mouse.

Other mice recommendations are appreciated too!

You can have a look at cooler Sentinel advance 2 and Cooler master recon as well. Otherwise, Steelseries Rival is a very good Go. Razer Taipan is also good.
I would suggest you to search for cons of these mice, this will give you a clear picture. If any of those cons could effect your gameplay or not.

Honestly, the DeathAdder is the one you should get since it is the most precise weapon out there.

Roccat Pure Optical, Razer DeathAdder, Steelseries Rival --> They're all perfect, whichever you are going to pick, they all would perform better than each other but subjectively each one will be optimal, so I'd rather choose depending on the price, shape and customization.

None of those three will let you down, so pick whichever you feel suits your style ;)

@Soumil -- I am using Sentinel Advance II and I can assure you this mouse is very bad, it has positive acceleration and it is very inconsistent with performance, even at 800 DPI. I bought a $6 optical mouse and it performs a ton better than the Sentinel Advance II.. The reason behind that is the sensor that the Advance II is using, laser mice are bad for gaming.

Though the CM Storm Recon is more than good since it has an optical sensor with average IPS tracking speeds and good acceleration speed.

A lot of places said that the rival has its flaws with the drivers, a bit hard to move and there was difficulty clicking the mouse. Is this true? Do any of you have this mouse or have used it before?

Nope I haven't used that mouse before but since reviews state such a malfunction at a highbrate then it is most probably true. Analayze the reviews, if, at many places it says that it is flawed, then it really is flawed. Look for the next mouse and check its reviews and if it has known/common issues then look for the next one and repeat until you find the optimal one.

Though keep in mind that not all the mouses are generally flawed, instead they might be defective and just need a replacement. :)

No one said that the mouse was not usable. Every product has its flaws and cannot ever really be perfect. I guess I could live with these small issues really. This is one of the best mice isn't it? Causes competition with the DeathAdder because it is good.

Yes you are right, every product has flaws. But you have to find those flaws and check for yourself. Would that flaw effect you in any way or not. Deathadder (the new one) is just perfect and I would recommend into it to anyone

The thing is, I can send back the steelseries rival if I have any problems and just get the DeathAdder, but it would be 2012 because I don't like the green LEDs. Yeah, yeah it is a lame excuse. No customization with the DeathAdder either so i would look for another mouse if I didn't like any of the ones that I try really. Just as long as I keep the box and not keep it for more than I think 7 days, then I can return it right?

I am not really interested into the Deathadder LED modding because I don't have the required tools to mod the LED. Also, the price of the Deathadder is higher than the Rival and the Rival is the cheapest of the three mice. The Rival is pretty much a larger version of the Deathadder and they both track great(From what I have heard).

I am interested in a somewhat large mouse. I like the fact that the Rival can me modded through Steelseries engine. The software has been rated not the greatest though. The tracking is great and the mouse goes with my setup. What I am worried about is that the cons of the mouse and the durability. Also, the Rival had dropped to 50 dollars so I am really looking quickly before the mouse jumps back up on price. I would like to know the cons of this mouse and which one I should get.
