What about a case?
That motherboard is not very good.
You can get a 1TB hdd for roughly the same price.
The psu could be better.

The Intel is WAY faster in single thread performance. 40% faster according to cpu-world

Also, getting the i3 now, and you can upgrade to an i5, i7, and even a Xeon later. The 760k is already basically the best cpu on it's socket.

Well I wouldn't need to buy windows so I could get better parts for $500. But yes, this is very good for $400 in parts.
