This is what I come up with. The i7 would be the better option for the video work, but it isn't in your budget. I had to go with a 4gb 770 because you said you want the option to SLI later.

Had an SSD because for you applications they give you a good boost. Might want to save up $60 and get a HDD as soon as possible.

Sorry, I don't know how to quote from my Galaxy S4. But an i7 definitely isn't necessary since they'll just be short gaming videos a couple times a week. What do you think about getting WD 1TB HDD, Asrock Z77 Pro3 motherboard and the Cooler Master HAF 912 case? That would save over $150 I could use to upgrade to a GTX 780.

That sound good? Ivy bridge runs cooler anyways. Monitor is only 21.5" but besides that it looks good to me. I also already have an optical drive.
