Need to power both a computer and a dish receiver with an ethernet cable run from a router.

Dish receiver maybe. Computer, no way.

Max for Power over Ethernet is 15W, or 25W if using PoE+.

I strongly suggest finding an alternate source. You may be able to use the ethernet cable as a draw-wire to pull through a new ethernet cable and a power cable.

It sounds like a worded the question wrong. I am not trying to electrically power the two. I just need to supply internet to both the dish receiver and the computer.
