gtx 800 expected price point

I know that this is going to be really subjected but I wanted to get a ballpark figure for the expected pricing strategy for the gtx 800 series. If the gtx 860 is launched in 28nm I would figure that the price would be marginally higher than gtx 760 at $250 and gtx 870 would launch at about $350? Is this a good estimation for what you guys figure the prices will be at launch for these enthusiast cards? I'm eagerly waiting to build my own pc but wont have the funds till later this year, hopefully when these cards are out. Please give your best estimation for the pricing of these upcoming maxwell cards.

Who knows what the pricing will be like, if all this cryptocurrency nonsense continues they may be quite high as Nvidia won't have any pressure from the AMD side to keep their prices reasonable.

this is true but it was on the news that someone hacked the "bank" and alot of bitcoins were stolen

True, Bitcoin might be well on the way to collapse because of those two exchanges going bankrupt, but there are plenty of other cryptocurrencies to mine. In fact the reason prices are high now is not due to Bitcoin, but everyone trying to get in on Litecoin before it gets too hard to mine that without ASICs.

I just hope that everything clears up by the time gtx 800 clears up so I can get a gtx 860/860ti for under $300

as the 760 is around 260 right now. i think thet would release the 860 at no less then a 50 dollar price point over the 760 to deplete the stock of old gen cards imo.
