Since this is my first PC build i honestly don't know too much about overclocking, how to do it, and if my PC can ever do it. But either way if it can safely be overclocked for a little more performance I really would want to do it. So first I would like to know if I need any programs and how to do it.

PC Build:
CPU : AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core
GPU: FXF AMD R7950
MB: ASRock 970 Extreme4
8GB Ram
500 wat power supply
Running Windows 7 (64bit)

Also if there is anyone who can tell me what would be a good, stable overclock for this build please share. Thanks.

First and foremost try to avoid programs that overclock your system for you. This is bad practice, and are usually unstable. The best way to overclock is to do it in BIOS the old fashion way with trial and error. In addition you will need to test your overclock every step of the way with Prime98 or the IntelBurnTest programs.
