So I was building a mid - level gaming rig now that next gen is here and I dont have a good system.(for Medium To High Next Gen fhd Gaming For atleast 2 years )
I shortlisted the following six parts
ASUS M5A97 Motherboard R2.0
AMD FX-6300
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB
WD 7200rpm Blue 500 GB
Corsair VS450
AMD HD 7850 2GB DDR5 OC Edition

Now my questions are -
1)Should I consider any other motherboard , Since a guy told me the pcie -2 slot on this board will bottleneck my pcie - 3 card (which I Think is not True )
2)Should i go for FX-6350
3)Im getting 2gb ddr5 Nvidia Cards like
-gtx 750 ti
-gtx 660
-gtx 650 ti boost
For around the same price as the card which i have shortlisted
But i wanna go with an ati card since Next gen has ati tech And Now that MANTLE is out.
Also I heard Amd is launching a R7 265 Pretty soon in my country ( which is a rebranded 7850 with mantle )
So should i wait for R7 265 or Buy any of those above listed nvidia cards or just go with the shortlisted card.
(Or should i Increase my Budget a bit and go for hd7870 or r9 270 {rebranded 7870} )
4) Also suggest an appropriate PSU for the card that u tell.(Im not connecting an ssd or extra hdd )(Also no sli For long time )

Solution
1) Various Tom's tests have shown that using a PCI-E 2.0 board does not bottleneck the GPU in any significant fashion, until you get up to the big dollar dual gpu on one card . There is a difference IIRC but not very major.

2) The performance difference between a 6300 and a 6350 will not be huge. OC headroom on a 6350 MAY be higher, but again not by large amounts.
If the price difference is not great, get a 6350.

3) Check Tom's past gpu benchmarks and various other places for a card decision. All the ones you mentioned are close in price. Some games perform better on AMD, others on Nvidia, your mileage may vary. You may be able to find a 7870/7950 for a price you can afford, that will take some looking on your part.

Golden rule of video cards. No matter what one you buy, and how long you spend agonizing over the decision, a "better" one will go on sale next week.

Personally the extra $30 ish dollars for a non reference cooler card ( one with 2 or 3 fans and huge heat sink) is worth it for long card life and possible card overclocking. A good 7850 can often be clocked up to 7870 specs, but that is not something one should count on being able to do.

R 280 might be doable, don't know if Bitcoin miners will be making the price go up that or not.

A brand name bronze rated or better 550-600 watt psu would work well with a bit of headroom for future card upgrade.
Never buy the cheapest psu you can find. Bad things can happen. 'And a good one will last a very long time, through multiple upgrades.

I get quite solid performance at high settings with some ultra thrown in here and there on all the games I play with a 7870 OC card, for comparison.
AA and particle effects turned down make very demanding titles run at playable framerates while still looking good.

-So would buying a gtx 660 be a bad move ( Cause im getting it a bit cheaper than the 7850 OC )
-Also Microsoft is launching DX12 . what does that mean for MANTLE ?
-Whats the difference between pcie 2.0 and 2.1?

A 660 is not a "bad" move, Just that the difference between the $200 ish bracket and the $300 ish gpu bracket is significant, so if budget allows , higher is better of course. But you would still be able to game at decent levels with ANY of your possible choices,

Mantle and DX12 are different apu's and don't really effect games unless those games have utilized coding for those apu's.
Both work with either flavour of video card.
