Well, here I am. Yesterday I got my psu for my WHS, and it booted and ran just fine. Today I wanted to boot it again, because I wanted to install some software and stuff. It didn't start though. The fans spin up (in the case, the cooler and the gpu) for like half a second and then stop again. No beeps or anything from the mobo. No video. Nothing. The parts are quite old, although it ran fine.
Specs:
Intel Core Duo E4400 @2.00 Ghz
3 GB ram @ 1066 Mhz
Mobo Asus F8000
Gpu: nVidia 8400 gs
Drives: 2x 160 gb, first one boot drive, second one download drive for bittorrent and 2x 1tb RAID 1 for safe storage. I'm not using a RAID card, just the card on the mobo, which is fine.
PSU Corsair VS350 Watt
I've tested the psu with the 'paperclip' method, just a case fan and it turned on. I know that it isn't really reliable, but it is some kind of 'life'
Do you guys know what's going on?
