I was thinking abort getting the asus radeon r9 270 2 gb, and im wondering,
Will it work with my old amd n68-s motherboard?

Solution
your motherboard has (1 x PCIe 2.0 x16), there should not be any problem with your gpu in compatibility issues and running it on your motherboard. Everything looks good with both of your components. You are all good to go with your gpu.
Just make sure you have enough power to run your graphics card. I would atleast have 450watts psu having minimum of 30A @12V rail.
Good luck :)
