sharing a wired printer

Can I share a printer that is not wireless? It is currently wired to my main computer but I wanted to share it to my laptop. My main pc is on windows 7 but the laptop is XP. Or can I only do this with a wireless printer?

Hi there,

Yes this can be done (provided both computers are connected to the same network), however the Printer will only be able to accessed from your laptop when the main computer is turned on.

To share you will require network sharing turned on between the two computers and the printer shared.
