Corsair H60 Pre-applied thermal paste

i just bought a corsair h60 and realize that the cover was dropped off which should be covering the pre-applied thermal paste, and the thermal paste was sticked together with the plastic and was wondering if there would be any problem if i still use it as it is?

Hi there,

Picture isn't the clearest, however It will be fine PROVIDED that theres still complete coverage of the thermal paste. If there isn't then it would be best to go back to your supplier and inform them of the issue. (I would advise to do that anyway as it always pays to play it safe with expensive components.

Failing that, you could always clean off the stock paste and apply your own thermal paste.
