Putting together my first PC build and looking for feedback and advice on the parts selected.

I have left out the keyboard, mouse, monitor and OS as i already have access to them. This build is looking to do a decent bit of gaming.

Thanks for any feedback. Heres a link to the parts I put together on PC Part Picker.

well usually you only need an ssd for fast boot up. so many only buy a 32-64gb ssd and couple it with an hdd for larger space. im not familliar with your currency, and im feeling lazy to google it, so i dont know if you can save more if you do the usual thing pc builders do. but for me 240gb of space isnt enough. you dont get the whole 240gb. maybe 220gb only. then you also need to subtract maybe 30+gb for OS. that makes only 190gb free space. BUT THE ONLY THING YOU REALLY NEED IS TO GET AT LEAST 500W PSU. ANYTHING LESS THAN 500 WONT BE GOOD FOR YOUR BUILD. FOR THE PURE SSD OR 64gb SSD + HDD, It is up to you

It's okay, a few comments though.

1. Is there a reason you want it so small that it's on ITX > More expensive than ATX/MATX
2. You'll probably need a HDD as 240gb of SSD will get filled up fast.

My adjustments, it's the Prodigy M case which is the micro-atx bigger brother of the Prodigy, you can put in almost ANY GPU you like without having to fuss with driver bays and you can get a cheaper motherboard so you could spend more on the GPU if you like.

If you don't plan on running a raid system of HDD's I advise actually dropping down to the B85 chipset so you could have something like this:

You don't need expensive corsair vengeance RAM unless you want to show off your flashy brand, you can also change the GPU in the First build to the 760 I used in the bottom build and it'll be around £640

what about this build ? (stronger GPU, more storage, better PSU and still a small case)

I personally love this build! Enjoy it :)

I'd try and go for a Samsung EVO 120gb for the fact that it is quite a bit faster; but if you have a strict budget than stick with the Kingston since it won't hurt. :)
